In plain English
InStackReview is free to read. To keep the lights on, some links to software we review are affiliate links. If you click one and later make a purchase, the vendor may pay us a commission — at no additional cost to you.
Independence rules
- We never accept payment for a higher score or a better placement.
- A vendor's affiliate program status does not change our rating, our pros and cons, or our recommendation.
- We review tools we have no relationship with, and we say so when we have one.
- Scores are assigned before any affiliate relationship is considered.
Advertising
We may also display display advertising or sponsored content. Any sponsored content is clearly labeled as such. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial content.
How to spot affiliate links
Affiliate links function like normal links. In the interest of transparency, treat links that point to a vendor's pricing or sign-up page as potentially affiliate links. They cost you nothing extra.
